Key Dates & Process
March 1st: Opening of Applications
We start by opening up applications. This means that everyone can apply - just as long as they work on one of the 12 social foundations within the doughnut model.
In order to participate in the awards the applicants have to finalise their own submission.

May 7th: Closing of Applications.
Applications must be submitted before 23h59 May 1st to be eligible to participate in the Awards.
May 7th: Deliberation by Jury
Together with our jury members we’ll shortlist the top 5 startups for each category. Once selected, we’ll announce the finalists and open public voting.

May 25th: Opening of Public Voting
During public voting, we turn to our extensive communities and ask them to cast their votes.
June 21st: Awards Ceremony
The winners of each category will be announced during the Awards Ceremony. Make sure to secure your front row seat and follow the announcement of the winners live on June 21st!
FAQ
WHO CAN APPLY?
Any for-profit company under 5 years old, registered in the continent Europe, that has social and/or ecological impact that fits into one of the 12 categories.
CAN WE ENTER MORE THAN ONCE?
Please choose the category that matches you the best. We'll accept only 1 application per company.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A JURY MEMBER IS LINKED TO A NOMINEE?
Each jury member is made aware that they can not judge a company they are personally linked to in any way.
WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK?
We will notify all applicants on May 26th of next steps.
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
The winners in each category will get to participate in an intensive bootcamp to help them 'Raise Alternative Funding'.Â
